Hamster too fast – extended – extra long
My hamster loves running, but it is too fast. And if the hamster is too fast it learns flying. -extended Version- This are old pictures now the hamster is save! (please look to the Video Response) Mein Hamster liebt rennen doch er ist zu schnell.
How long does it take a hamster to get used to you? I got one yesterday and all it does is stay in a tube.?
I got a hamster yesterday(i named it hokey pokey) and all it does is stay in a tube where i cant get it. I tried feeding it and i got it out once but not again. How long will this continue? I really love hamsters and this is my first time owning one so if anyone has any tips or information i would be glad to hear it. Thanks

How do you get your hamster to sit still long enought to cuddle?
I have a 14 week old Syrian Hamster who never sits still long enough for me to cuddle him.
I read all these stories of Hamsters sleeping on people, sitting still on them and letting them pet them etc.
My little guy is always so full of energy and excitement I can’t get him to sit still for 5 secs after he wakes up.
Am I missing something here? Is it, is it an age thing? Do they become more docile as they get older?

My hamster is having babies. How long should i wait until i touch the babies? I’ve heard 3 days and 3-4 weeks!! Please answer. Also, my hamster is a Russian hamster.

How Long Should I Let My Hamster Spin In His Exercise Ball?
I have put my hamster in one of those clear plastic balls that they can roll around in. The cage exercise wheel drives me nuts because of the noise, so do you think it’s okay if I leave the hamster in the ball for longer than 30 minutes at a time? My computer is in the same room as the hamster, so I would be able to make sure he’s okay, but how long is too long? He bumps into furniture all the time, but he seems to enjoy it lol
