How much should I feed my hamster if I’m going away for the weekend?

My husband and I are driving about 2 hours north to visit my family this weekend. We are leaving tonight (Friday) and will be back on Sunday. I’m planning to leave the hamster here because they are chain smokers and they have a dog which would probably cause my hamster added stress. I’m just not sure how much food to leave her for the weekend. I’m hoping she won’t try to eat it all in one night and have nothing left by Sunday when we get back. Any suggestions?

Are the hamster homes with the tubes going up to the next level to difficult for dwarf hamsters?

I have had hamsters before,but never a dwarf hamster. I hear that the tubes are to difficult and even dangerous for dwarf hamsters. Can anyone who has had dwarf hamsters tell me if they experienced any difficulties with these tubes?
