Syrian hamsters and dwarf hamsters are two completely differnt species! They are not compatable at all.
Syrian hamsters are also strictly solitary animals. Both males and females will fight, and kill, if necessary, any animals “tresspassing”, whether they are other syrians or other rodents all together. They live alone in the wild, and do not need companionship. Keep him/her in its own cage alone. You might see syrians housed in groups at pet stores, but this is because younger hamsters do not develop hormonally for a couple months, and before that time, have no reason to fight.
Dwarf hamsters are social however. You can get multiple females, or multiple males and keep them in the same cage. Females aren’t usually problimatic, but males can sometimes have territorial spats, especially if they are introduced not from birth. For this reason, its always safer to get brothers. You must also consider the fact that you will need a larger cage, plus at least two hides, and water bottles so they never have to share (less reason to fight).

the answer is no dwarf hamsters are social animals but the regular hamster is not the regular hamster is fine on his own and does not need a buddy they will fight to the death. if you put a regular hamster with a dwarf hamster the bigger one will kill the dwarf hamster or the other way around. your hamster is fine just he way he is he likes his own cage and that’s it.
    hope this helps

Hamsters are not social animals and they can not live together. You will have to keep them in separate cages or the larger one will kill the other one. I had trouble transporting 2 hamsters even with something in between them. They kept trying to get at each other to fight. They only get along as babies and long enough to mate.
I had dwarf hamsters. They do not get along either.

to answer your second no only dwarf hamsters FROM THE SAME LITTER or introduced very young.

I’ve heard hamsters are very teratorial and they will kill eachother if you put them together. The only can if you get them from the same litter anbd raise them together. HOPE THAT HELPS!
